Using The Login Panel Tab |
The Login Panel is
the window that prompts you for a password to login to Mac OS X. There are three pieces of the Login Panel that you can customize:
Login Panel Logo
You can use any image for a Login Panel Logo. Your image can be any format natively supported by Mac OS X, such as JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PNG, pict, or PDF. Apple's default Login Panel Logo is 90 pixels wide by 90 pixels high. For best results, your image should have similar dimensions. Login Panel Title
You can use any image for a Login Panel Title. Your image can be any format natively supported by Mac OS X, such as JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PNG, pict, or PDF. Apple's default Login Panel Title is 140 pixels wide by 24 pixels high. For best results, your image should have similar dimensions. Login Panel Text Message
You can type any text into Visage's text message box, and the text will appear in your login panel. If the message is long, the login panel will display this text over multiple lines and with scroll bars if necessary. |
