• Setting number of rows and columns: Click on a table. in the Table window, type the number of rows and columns you want (or click the arrow buttons to add or subtract rows and columns).
• Adjusting height of rows, width of columns: Place the pointer over a cell border. When the pointer changes to a double-headed arrow, drag the border.
• Costumizing table cells: Click on a table cell.
- Select how you want to align text in the cells by using the Alignment buttons.
- To change the thickness of the cell borders in pixels, enter a number or click the arrows.
- To set the color of the cell borders, click the Cell Border color well, and then select a color in the Colors window.
- To set the background color, choose Color Fill from the Cell Background pop-up menu, and then click the color well and select a color in the Colors window.
• Merging table cells: Select the table cells to be merged and click on "Merge Cells" in the Table window.
• Splitting merged table cells: Select the merged table cell to be splitted and click on "Split Cells" in the Table window.
• Creating a table within a table: Select a cell in an existing table and click on "Nest Table" in the Table window.
