The Plot
Let the magic wheel pave the way for a perfect day at the Carnival of Madness!
Get lost in an amusement park where crazy attractions such as Smack The Rodent, Pop 100 Balloons, Seesaw Frog, Conveyor Catch and much more await.
Getting Started - The Very Basics
Choose any of the three game modes (described below) when you first arrive at the title screen, and click Start for a new game.
Spin the wheel, play the games that appear and aim for the top slot on the high score table! At the end of each day, you'll be given a set of prizes to decorate the main entrance of the park.
The Game Modes
Quick Play:
In this mode you will start with 10 spins at a classic wheel of mixed tokens.
Apart from the game tokens, you will find 5 star tokens that will take you to the inlay game where you have the chance to win additional spins and points.
Surprise:
Here you will start with 25 spins at a wheel dominated by question mark tokens.
When the wheel stops at a question mark it will turn into a random game token for you to play. In opposite to the other game modes available in Spin & Play, this game token will not turn back into a question mark, but stay that way until the game is over.
Super Mode:
If you like long days at the carnival, this is the mode for you!
You start with 50 spins. Just like the "Quick Play" game mode, you play at a wheel of mixed tokens, but here they are arranged in a different order and the 750 token is removed.
The Mini Games
Each time the wheel stops at a game token you get to play a mini game!
Many mini games have a ramping score factor system, meaning the more you score, the more points each score will be worth!
Smack The Rodent:
Be fast and club the rodents as they come out from their holes!
The game start off with a score factor of 10 points per hit. Every 5 hit the score factor will raise by another 10 points.
Basket Ball:
Shoot the basketball using the left mouse button when the hands are located under the hoop!
The trick here is to get the timing right with the release, not the click, of the mouse button.
The first ball to score is worth 50 points, with an additional 25 points per successful pitch after that.
Hook The Fish:
Grab as many fish as possible in 30 seconds.
Pull the rope by holding or clicking the mouse button rapidly, and aim for the metal loop in the fish's mouth.
Each fish is worth 100 points.
Pop 100 Balloons:
Move the mouse pointer over the screen to pop as many balloons as possible.
Drop The Coin:
Drop five coins and aim for the highest container!
Conveyor Catch:
Use your mouse to move the claw sideways, and click to lower it.
Catch an item to get 100 points plus a score factor raise by 25! The conveyor belt will speed up each time as well.
You have 30 seconds to catch as many items as possible.
Seesaw Frog:
Flip the frog into the basket by hitting the seesaw with a wooden club.
Look at the power meter, it will tell you how far the frog will jump. Keep in mind that basket is moving though, so the trick here is to estimate where the basket will be located when the frog is landing!
You have 5 tries.
Air Gun Shooter:
Shoot as many animal signs with 15 bullets.
The bottom row is worth 30 points per hit for starters, while the top row is slightly faster and worth 50 points. Since air gun bullets are slow and the top row is further away you will need to take these factors in consideration!
Each hit will raise the score factor by 5.
Win A Spin:
Click the Stop button when a certain prize button is lit to win the amount of spins stated on it.
750 Points:
Instantly gives you 750 points.
Question Mark:
When the wheel stops at the question mark token, it will flip and change into any other game token. In the "Surprise" game mode, this token won't flip back after you have played the randomly picked mini game, but stay flipped until the game is over.
Star:
This token will take you to the inlay game.
Fill in the empty shapes with items from the conveyor belt at the bottom! Each row you fill is worth 250 points, and when all rows are filled you get to pick a bonus prize.
Avoid The Clown:
Open one out of four doors per row, where three of them will contain points and move you on to the next row, and one door will contain an angry clown.
The mini game is over when you have reached the top or opened a door with a clown.
The Paris Spin:
In this game each wagon holds a picture which is shown at start up!
When the wheel starts turning, you have 4 tries to find the 4 matching pairs.
The first pair is worth 100 points, the second is worth 200 points, and so on.
Top score is 1000 points!
Pick A Card:
Pick any of the three cards, and watch the cans shuffle!
There are three rounds, the first being the easiest and the third being the hardest, and if you pick the right can with your card in, you will win 300, 400 and 500 points, respectively.
Pull 3 Strings:
Watch the tags drop from above and memorize the three winning ones and keep an eye on their attached strings.
As soon as the strings start moving, act quick and pull the three right strings!
Find The Snake:
There is a snake hidden in the pyramid, and it's up to you to find it!
The snake is always 3 dots long, and may be vertically or diagonally located.
When the snake is found, you win 100 points for each dot left in the pyramid.
Super Chance:
Here's a chance for big wins!
Click the left mouse button when the highest number is lit to win. After moving on to the next column the game will speed up!
The position of the mouse pointer when clicking has no effect on the game.
Duck Race:
Pick any of the four ducks, and follow the race with excitement!
The 1st place is worth 2500 points, 2nd place is worth 400 points, 3rd place is worth 50 points, and no points for the last.
Amor's Arrows:
Click the mouse button while the cannon is oscillating to launch balls at the hearts that drop down from above. The trick is to aim well and fire with care, since firing without hitting will reduce the amount of hearts that drop down!
The Park Entrance
At the end of each day at the carnival, you will get a balloon and flag of random color to decorate the park!
Since balloons will attach to each other you can create a funny pattern if you have enough balloons. To throw away a flag or balloon, simply grab it and toss it in the trash can in the bottom right corner.
Your park will be saved automatically when exiting Spin & Play.
